Position Overview
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern for the Spring and Summer of 2025, with the possibility of extending the internship into the fall semester as part-time or full-time. This role is an exceptional opportunity for those deeply interested in contributing to the development of medical devices within a dynamic startup environment.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components for our pre-clinical and clinical SPECT devices.

Collaborate with mechanical and software engineering teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into device prototypes.

Participate in PCB design, assembly, and troubleshooting activities.

Conduct experiments and analyze data to optimize device performance and reliability.

Document all design changes, test results, and troubleshooting procedures accurately.
Qualifications

Enrollment in a Bachelor’s program in Electrical Engineering or a related field, at the sophomore level or above.

Proficiency in CAD software for schematic capture and PCB layout; experience with Altium Designer or similar tools preferred.

Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and circuits.

Familiarity with analog and digital electronics, signal processing, and microcontroller programming.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication skills and the ability to work in team settings.
